Our main three motives:
1. The sharing of news and ideas on SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING (SMM) and the use of SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES SNS) (such as MIXI, Twitter, Facebook, SKYPE, the new open-source portals, tools) for corporate needs: sales, consumer response to company practices, new product-launches, recalls, corporate communications;
2. A secondary concern is that most of us in this group are interested in face-to-face networking with fellow LinkedIn members, such as informal meet-ups, as convenient mutually I do this when possible: network with some of the most interesting, knowledgable, well connected people in Japan: LinkedIn people.
3. Our last concern: everyone is free and welcome to comment/send messages/start discussions in Japanese or English.
We are basically a bilingual group, and support Japanese users who prefer to write in Japanese.
KdL is an OsakaBentures initiative: to enpower Japanese businesses, and foreign firms/businesspeople with Japan interests, with social media. OB projects corporate imaging/branding/growth, international marketing, connectivity, and social media initiatives.
