NOTO 能登
My short bicycle trip at NOTO in May, 2008.

"寝台特急・北陸号" the "Hokuriku" express train with sleeping berths at Ueno station. My short trip began from here. I folded up my bicycle and got on the train with it. At almost midnight, the Hokuriku pulled out of Ueno station in silence and headed for Kanazawa in Ishikawa pref.
Unfortunately, this old good night train was out of service on March 2010. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hokuriku_(train)

At Kanazawa Station in the early morning.
Ishikawa prif. is famous for the headquarters location of "EIZO". http://www.eizo.com/global/

I assembled my bicycle again and started running along the seaside of NOTO peninsula.

I stayed in Noto-Isaribi Youth Hostel overnight. Of course the dinner was a fresh fish dish^^

It's a beautiful morning.

I enjoyed exploring a dead track.

A dead station which is reverting to nature.

It seems that rice planting just finished.

My most favorite place through this small trip.

May is the most beautiful and comfortable season to bicycle ride in NOTO.
