In my neck of the woods... it's sadly generic.
Most Chinese places around here are awesomely cheap and they give you so much food that it'll last a couple of days for leftovers. PLUS they make good Christmas-Eve dinners when nothing else is open :)
Chinese food is still considered fast food here, which means cheap and bad quality ingredients with lots of fat and MSG. It's really hard to find authentic Chinese food, which is a shame because it's my favorite cuisine :|

Living in Hong Kong, theres chinese food everywhere and it tastes really nice. That's all I need to say I think. xD
